AMG Experience – Mercedes World

Ok,  so today was my birthday and my parents paid for me to spend an hour driving an AMG! I got to drive the insanely fast E63 AMG in white. Thats a 6.3l V8 with 525 horses under the bonnet.

You start off on the ‘baby circuit’ at the end of the main track to get you used to the car, then you are allowed on the main track. The acceleration is quite astonishing, and it handles so well for a large car. We hit the skid pan after a few laps, and that was incredibly frustrating! It looks so easy, and yet its extremely hard to get that balance in power and wheel lock.

When the hour was nearly up, the instructor offered to take me round, and my God……… I was holding onto the seat belt so hard, but still trying to look relaxed!!
