ACC United 3-2 Ashford All Stars
This results speaks volumes!! with ACC coming into the game from last weeks result; they came out all guns blazing to keep ACC’s name proud. With another debutant this week john cawte was pushed up front to breach the defence and less than 5 minutes in JC slotted it home with a lovely supporting attack and rolling it past the keeper. With the celebrations over the game continued with what i can only say as an upset team the call and fouls were flying in. With ACC on the edge of the box another tackle came flying in. Up stepped Redhead to smash it home to put ACC 2-0 up. Bolding pulling off some top saves surely beating joe hart to number 1!. After half time ACC came out a bit slower at half time but with captin dickie geeing the team up ACC turned the switch back on and Lee again showed his true tallent DRILLING an amazing effort straight in putting ACC 3-0 up. Showing home top ACC were, ashford resulted in a harsh tackle on Jon Abu-Nackly resulting in a heated exchange. With some heated words being exchanged erm Lee and ashford’s captin best friends now. Ashford scored to late consolalation goals the final whistle went. With the cheers and celebrations at the end ACC secured thier first win of the league.
Big Special Mentions to all the lads to day caption dickie and jon and the back being the rocks of defence, pete for the shortest sub apperance, john cawte with his great goal, lee with his to screamers, clarky with his talent running rings around them, stilts with the standard saturday roll abouts, kev destroying anyhting in his path, stu with his runs with andy and bolding with his amazing saves.
Final Note of a great win for ACC was we have secured the first win now lets build on this and make ACC the team to be feared. Well done lads!
